Very Good!! I have got to get me a Jackalope!! I would hang the hood the other way, meaning from the back, it won't distort the hood shape if you do..Thank you Yann..

consider the reversal of the hood done Ken!

Will try to find you one. :yawinkle:

Sadly, the Great Western Jackalope population is almost extinct (started by human setlement and finished-off by crop dusting)... the few Jackalope does that are left hybridize with Jackrabbits males and this causes ever shrinking antlers...

In N. Nevada in some of the lesser know flats above 600 feet elevation we still have a decent joackalope population. Most in Elko, County are on the privately held Wincupp Ranch property. But every once in a while they are seen on public lands. One gave a saluki that I was coursing on jacks a pretty good goring. I had never run one before and I did not Know they were so tough! The jakalope got away, so not trophy, but the dog is fine. If I get a chance I will bag one for ya while out hawking. Tags are hard to get, but if Nevada would start issuing them, you may see more showing up and not just in the local western bars.

I had heard they were a tough customer, Wow. I had thoughts of bringing my desert bred salukis down to hunt the jackalopes but after reading your post forget it..Too Dangerous,, I will just have them hunt 12 lb. Whitetailed jacks with my new saker FU!!

Tony,, Fu is my new saker,, short for Kung FU Panda,, when I got her out of the airline kennel she nailed me twice on the hand Kung Fu style..So as the movie was just out I thought hey what a great name that and I used to have a big FU manchu!!
Meant nothing negative at all by it..

Ya know, some of you guys make hoods into fine art. I can't even darn my socks w/out lookin like a buggar eating spastic. The stitchin on the hood is very nice. Very nice indeed.
