Hi!
Does anyone have any experience with keeping barnowls in an aviary together with other species, for example black vulture?
Or any other?

erm sounds like a bad idea to me, I think the only way you would be able to keep them with another species is if they were crache rear with the other bird. I've heard of a tawny and a barn owl kept together after being reared together

we use to hav a barn owl and a kestrel who use to live in the same avairy for a while.but they were both fed up and wasn't flown till in seperate averies
be very careful when mixing for obvious reasons. Some owls are more aggressive than others and the barny wouldnt stand a chance. and as claire said it would have been better for the two owls to have been raised together. Another problem you might find that if one owl is already inhabiting the aviary it will consider itself to be the big boss!! so any new owl introduced may get the big heave ho!!
