Hello! Does someone have a pattern for a female sparrowhawk hood?
I have looked on the web and did not found any, so I think someone here will have one.
Thankyou and best regards!

You don't say what style of hood you want, Dutch, Anglo-Indian..............
The link above is for a Dutch hood, just type in the 'behind the eye' measurement and it draws it out for you and you just print it out. It is all to scale so just use it for your pattern.

Thankyou for your replyes!
I already have the program, but I am looking for an anglo-indian hood pattern. I donīt have the bird yet, so I am looking for a pattern, to create some hoods (to prepare some hoods), smaller and larger that the pattern itself, so one of those hoods would fit.
Well, if someone have some pictures on the right sized, please help me.
Also, if someone who flyies sparrowhawks femmales, can send me the measure (in mm) of theyr birds heads, so that I will generate the pattern with the program.
I have a pattern that came from the Hawk from the Bush, but itīs not the right size...its very small, so I made a small hood, that fits to a sparrow or starling... :?

Think this needs blocking. I'm sure you could make a small block for a spar with wood.
The leather will have to be very light once you come to make your final product otherwise she will hang her head the whole time.

hmmmm....thats a Nick fox pattern.....not the best for a Spar really. You need a good blocked anglo....or dutch. Glasier's book has a female Spar pattern that is easy to make in it ..... anglo I think.
