Some one wants that old knackered hood badly..... why not just buy a good replica :) :)
One thing I would say about it.... it appears to have no provenance.... so buyer beware!

I have a genuine Spar hood made by Ronald Stevens of the Old Hawking Club that was given to me as a gift many years ago. If you want to start bidding silly money like the E bay hood then feel free to go ahead.

As someone who has been in the leather industry for over 30 yrs & previous posts seem to have confirmed my initial thoughts that this person is probably scammer. surely if it had the appropriate provenance it would be being sold throu someone like sotheby's?

This is exactly what i told hm69 :!: Surely you gotta be some sort of pleb to pay so much for a bit of mouldy leather
