Dan, does the perch Rotate? looks like the leash may snag on the top if not.

I have used these before years ago! Mine had the ring attached to the rotating pear shape, this helped to stop the leash tangling.....but it still did!!!!!
In the end, your better off with the bow design. At the moment there seems to be a big come back in ring and pear design, these will all work fine with the imprinted goshawks but PR in the earliy stages?????

With birds the size of tiercel HH and up I found the perch to be safe on a trained bird. But I would'nt trust it with my Coopers Hawks. The perch is also swivel from the base, yes. Anyway I make and sell these perches in metal for much cheaper than elsewhere...

What I like about it is the height clearance it gives off the ground...to compare to a normal bow perch (left with Redtail).

They look well made mate, but dont think i would use them, i would be too worried about the bird getting tangled.

Damo, getting tangled... it never happened to me, not even once. And it does'nt break tail feathers on a Gos either...not a single.

Anyway I still mostly use bows but thought to share this the same.

Looks nice, Dan.
I'd have thought the ring would work nicely on one of the sides, to slid around a bit more, but to each his own. How much you selling them for, Dan? They look like safe perches to me. I've had my gos tie himself up once with his leash while on the bow, so I know that nothing is perfect.
Did you see my last email, buddy?

Yeah, Dan. How much $$? I might pick one up the next time I visit Quebec. I have an old one of John's that I use which is something similar, and have not had any problems with it. I have it in Gryphon's mews as a low perch, even though he's loose. He likes to use it as a step to his water bath. Even tethered, he's not had any problems; but like Justin said, I usually tied him to one of the sides. See photo. But either way obviously works fine if you've not had any issues.

Cheers
