One lovely area of my permission is a fence running over and across a large sandy hill. Cony has dug thousands of hole and it provides me with countless hours of fun with our furry foe. I had popped my ferret down one such hole and waited........and waited.......and waited. After a while I moved about 100yards away to investigate another bury before going and retreiving the ferret when it had eventually returned to the surface. Turning back round a rabbit popped up but failed to run away properly. It danced up and down as if teathered or caught in wire. Cody got to it and hit it. When I got there it had been nailed fair and squarely and was not diseased. This has happened once before and it's as if the rabbit is having a fit or something. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what is it. Am I right in thinking that it is fear?
