Thanks Luksander!!!! The nice man rang me from USA tonight, he was on phone 1.1/2 hours. He is sorting out the problem with the receiver which is still under warranty and sending me a new top of the range transmitter at a real cheap price to replace the lost one...Cheers and THANKS LUKSANDER

that doesn't surprise me, I had dealings with him in the '70's and have got on fine without any contact since then!
if you have any probs when the system is out of warranty you could always try pete munroe at audio precision down at st athan in wales

But I now have an internet contact direct with Luksander, so I shall continue to use their system, but will never be bothering Mr. Robin Haigh again. All goods will be coming direct from USA to me. Better service and a lot cheaper tham paying his cut for no assistance at all.

I have always found Luksander telemetry to be second to none and that goes for the after sales too.
I imported mine(A nicely illegal 216 jobbie) in the early 90s and have not had a moments trouble that wasnt of my own creation.
Its exellent.
All goods will be coming direct from USA to me.
Its the only way to go! :D

Bloody hell Blackbird, you were an entreprising 11 / 12 / 13 year old if your profile is correct. The last thing on my mind at that age was importing goods from America.... :)

If I had lost my bird my father would have laid a mushroom cloud so it was kind of a must have, otherwise BANG :!:

Blackbird, did you neck mount your spar ? Have you tried the spar on rooks from the car ?

I dont realy use it on a spar as my transmiter is too large ( I wont shell out for another because im a tight git) but I have used a neck bell in the past and found it the best place to mount anything on a spar (apart from almeri  )
Never had the oppoutunity to try rooks from the car as my hawking grounds dont realy lend themselves to this kind of flying wich is a pity because Im sure it would be exellent fun.
It would certainly be more fun than trying to stalk them with a hooded spar tucked in the front of your coat :)

Pass...previous suppliers should have enough details to contacy them direct same as I managed to, even tho I used a 'supplier' but I'm not bothered... I'm going direct from now on & will pass on any info I can to any one else who wants to do the same !!! :)
