What is the biggets bird of pray in England????

The largest indigeonous B.O.P in ENGLAND is the Golden Eagle......
I'm not sure how the white tailed sea eagle compares in size, but I believe that is only resident in Scotland/Scottish Isles, not England.

Lucky.

White tailed is bigger than goldie but as you say not strictly indiginous to England

Ok, if you meant UK, then it is the white tailed sea eagle.
If it's England, then it's the Goldie.

If you actually meant the 'biggots' bird, then that's a peregrine, but there are nicer things you could call me.......

Lucky.

The big fat bird that tried to pick me up the last time i was down in England for a night out. She was definitely a big bird preying on unsuspecting guys.

If not her then it has got to be the Goldie. When it decides to visit England.

the biggest BOP in the UK is? Both White tailed & Goldie are almost the same size.
White Tailed is 27-38 inches.
Goldies are 30-40 inches
the white tailed sea eagle was indigenous to the UK, disappeared and has now been reintroduced.

Sea Eagles are to be reintroduced into Norfolk soon, North wales was desperate for them but didn't "win" with whatever tender they had to produce. The deal is worth £milllions in tourism.

Surely is the birds welfare and habitat suitability that should have been the priority?? Not the perks offered to the RSPB or other organisations involved????????
Correct me if I'm wrong (very probably) but last time I went to Norfolk it was very flat, with lots of estuaries spreading everywhere? If the White tails are doing so well on the Scottish Isles, surely Wales with mountainous coastlines similar to Scotland would have been better??? Offering more nest site potentials????

My cousin has to be the biggest bird of prey he's 25 stone, acts like and is a vulture. You can see we dont get on very well.

Gotta agree with pitbull there.

I may be wrong but were are there Goldies in England (obviously not the exatct location)?????

As if there are none then it would be the Red Kite (Milvus Milvus), Which with a wingspan of upt two meters is far bigger than the Common Buzzard (Buteo Buteo) with a wingspan of only 130 cm ish, although I heard there are some large Honey Buzzrds down this way along with Black Kites and Marsh Harriers wich are all around the 150 cm wing span (roughly).
