Ken sent me this hood some time back. I tried it on Nelson my young large male golden. It fits a treat with minimum disturbance to the nape feathers.

I forgot about that hood, it was a prototype,, I think I would just increase the beak opening to expose the forehead a bit more this would then bring the hood in closer to the face.. As I said it was an experiment ..Like the look..
