I had a pair about 15 years ago .
The female was dead 2 days later .
The male was hunting and very fast but was also dead after some time .
The 2 birds had aspergiloses .

Nick Fox has done a lot of work with them, there is some footage in one of his series of videos - they are very defensive of the nest even towards humans and he recommends a hat is always worn because they do hit you as it shows on the video!!

I've never seen them hunt though, in the flesh or otherwise.

I saw a pair at Vaughn Sergents house, they belonged to Nick Fox. He never knew anyone that ever flew them succefully without them coming to a sticky end.
