I didn't mind too much, as he had a cracking flight at a rabbit prior to dunking himself in the stream. You've got to laugh really!!

its the way they make a b-line for it that gets me nothing seems to deture them when they get in that mode....all the waving in the world dont seem to help at all.

Strange isn't it...........and Harris Hawks are a thousand times worse than any other bird for it.......
I had a redtail do it once, my gos never did it.......I could see the peregrine causing herself a few problems if she decided to have bath while in a stoop.
Perhaps the rest were just dirty gits that wouldn't wash........

My male Harris will almost never bath, even careful to stand on the edge if he wants a drink. But if there is a river around out hunting he always manages to catch something on the bank and roll right in with great glee.

The best part is that you could offer a bath all day every day and the ******s wont go in, the one time you need em dry and they are suddenly half duck!

Strange sods aint they! I have a male hh that jumps in before he gets tethered. EVERY time. The pere is much the same. The gosses when they feel like it, and the worst one is the eagle, NEVER seen him take a bath, so he gets the hose treatment
