can anybody give me a web site or a business contact where i could obtain a small quantity of decent quality of 393 transmitter batteries for my telemetry.? thanks very much KEV.

on subject of bats. Luksanda recon you shoudnt use Varta or Renata, tho I know a lot do. You should use high drain silver oxide like eveready etc
they tested Varta and they stop working if temperature drops, warm them and they restart. So you could test the transmitter at start of day & it would stop working later.

Renarta batteries are alot better than the Energizer batteries in my opinion

just found some batteries on ebay. vinnic ag5 alkaline (393) are these any good ? to use in my transmiter? and is it ok to be using alkaline batteries? can anybody recommend a make to use and price where to get them from would be handy. thanks very much KEV.

I use duracell lithium batteries in my RT plus, and duracell mp3's in the receiver, it just aint worth skimping.

thanks for your response s/j i was hoping somebody could recommend where to get them from and what sort of price i should pay for them. there are lots of folks on here with far more experience than me. i was hoping some might have found themselves a good suppler at a reasonable price. hope i didnt come across as if i wanted them for nothing i just wanted to be pointed in the right direction. cheers KEV.

most of what I supply are varta , of course I sell other batteries but most folk expect other batteries for varat prices , If I can do em cheaper I will do!! :rolleyes:
