This is the 2nd time I have put this falcon on the forum, we have had interested people but no one to take him on.
He is a 1 year old just done his 1st moult, a cracking imprint that will be treasured by the right person.

Does he take a hood?
I flew him off the hill at home for a few weeks in his 1st year, he hooded well at that time but has been in a pen since then so will take some work to get back in the hood.

wots the ££££ off him ?
Beautiful looking bird I just hope mine turns out that white. Having said that I doubt that it would stay that colour once it is taking quarry!

Hi Greg, your bird will be every bit as white as the imprint next season, may be even whiter. A couple of pics of the imprint last year.

i also notice very little black in the beak is this a sign of a bird going to be white ??;-)
I think you might be right there Chris mine is maybe a little lighter in his first year plumage with a little less brown on the back. I tried to get a similar photograph to compare!

Look how those wings shorten once intermewed,a huge merlin!:supz:How far you gettin with your Greg, soon be up in the clouds eh!!
He's coming on really well Dean but I am taking my time as there is no rush this bird is going to be right. He's starting to be a really nice bird to handle after being a real headcase for the first 8 days. Hoods like a dream and doesn't bite, he even take small pieces of meat from my finger tips! Not all that sure of the dogs yet but he is getting there.

Same with the hybrids greg, the gyr throws an awful lot of aggression through early manning but once they get there they almost enjoy every minute with the falconer!!!I,d love one in darker clothing!!!Enjoy mate!!:supz:

Hey up Dave, no he is out of a 3/4 male to a sliver female in a natural pair. There will be a silver gyrkin going in with her next season, he has proved himself with a 50/50 female this year.
