Don`t want to cause a heated debate but I am after a travelling box for a FHH. Looking at either the Gamehawker or the Falconry Fabricatiions ones. Anybody use these and is there anything to choose between them as both around the same price.

Purely from personal preference i'd choose Gamehawkers boxes everytime:supz: Great service, excellent quality, good price and prompt delivery.. honestly cant fault them. Only thing I was once told about the Falcon fabrication ones was that the catches were poor, but I dont own one so this may just be hearsay.

Thanks kat i don't see any vents is there any in the F F boxes they are all round but blanked so no light gets in

Yes theres one that runs the width of the back at the top but it has a shutter over it that diffuses the light totally. Ive never had any probs with it being used by either my FHH or my Pere/Saker. As I say my post was only my personal opinion not gospel lol

Carl, you should get a currency converter on your site!
Just converted the prices for the Large Hawk Box to USD
95.00 GBP
=
140.723 USD
United Kingdom Pounds United States Dollars 1 GBP = 1.48129 USD 1 USD = 0.675085 GBP
I'm curious about international shipping as well. I'm gonna get one, one of these days, after holidays are over, but I'm still curious about the shipping costs.

Eric,
Delivery for the Box would cost around £160.00. it would be delivered in 5 working days. The box would cost you £95.00- Vat which would be £80.85p. Not cheap but the best hawk box available on the market today bar none.

There was some talk about someone over this side of the pond, I think in Canada, actually was going to be getting a shipment of your boxes in. In that case, I'd still be buying the box from you in a round about sort of way...but shipping would be a bit more reasonable.
£160.00 = $237.00

If you were going to buy a Rolls Royce would the cost of shipping put you off, I think not. LOL

Not at all...and I am going to buy one of these boxes....just got the interests of the six month old son and the wifey to put first at the current time. As much as the red-tails another kid...I think the wifey might not be happy if I drop that much on a hawkbox (quality though) at the CURRENT time. Holiday's are a crunch. Before it's all said and done though I'll have at least one!:supz:
