Where did you take it, in your garden?

No, lol. I took it at the Cotswold Falconry Centre in Moreton - in - Marsh.

My 7 year old son wanted to hold that exact bird on his fist at that exact place 9 days ago and was told it was a grumpy GE so he couldn't......which seemed a very sensible answer. Thank you CFC. Really nice dark plumage - I want one.

714HCR,
It did seem really grumpy actually. I just snapped it whilst it was in its holding bay (if that makes sense)? I flew the Harris Hawk at the centre. I thought it was really good. What did you think?

It is on my list of things to do, see a golden eagle in the wild (not go to Leeds)! I have seen Maiden 6 times and have no interest in the rest of the bill)!

LOL - they do have that "you and who's army?" look on their face don't they?! Cool website Superfly - I'll try and pop down to the Centre soon for a visit.

Hehe - I've yet to build up to dealing with Bracken - no doubt it will happen though. Heck, I never even thought 2 years ago I'd be handling birds of prey so regularly ... I was only supposed to be takin' some pictures! :P
Can't imagine not doing it now. :D 8)
