Seriously, if you want to get to more extreme places to fly your birds you need something like this. It's a bit short on space though.
lol id rather walk it,
looks fun though lol

But if the terrain is just too tough, you can always fly in with your bird. This guy is one of a kind.
Oh, and 'Finnish', that's not me in the 4x4. I am 43 and most of my hair has fallen out so I look like a baby again.

Good try. It is actually Angelo D’Arrigo. He is the chap that recently tried to hang glide over Everest, having been towed up their by a microlight. Sadly the tow cable broke just before he reached the summit. Anyway, full marks for effort. The bird is an eagle of some sort but I have not got a clue what it actually is. Any suggestions????

I had never heard of Andy Hollige until now. He appears to fly wing gliders in the World Championships where winning is all about speed over a set course. Is he a falconer too? It looks just so cool to hang glide with your bird.
Nice 4x4 Coedhirion and a good location for it too.

I found this photo of Andy Hollidge at Chelan Worlds by Douglas Pohl - dpohl@datamarine.com He seems to be associated with trialing some cutting-edge hang glider tail fin thingy.
I can't find any links or websites about him with his falconry hat on. Do you know of any?

Someone should invite him over to the forum to enlighten us more.

think i remember seeing something about him on a discovery channel one time.
he holds some kinda distance record for hang gliding as well and on the day he did it he took his imprint tawny eagle along with him
cant remember much else about it
