I am assuming that the hare is not the reason why the Harris is now is a glass case.

My only memory of a Harris and a hare was a male Harris that I had. It charged off with great enthusiasm to its first ever hare which was sunning itself. As H arrived, the hare sat up. H applied full brakes, and landed 6 ft away. H watched hare for 2 mins, walked round a bit, then headed off in the other direction as if to say, that is huge....I'm off. After that, whenever a hare got up, H looked the other way as if to say "oh sorry, I didn't see that".
