Meet Oscer my wife's ee owl

right i thought i would put some pictures of oscer my wife nicola's european eagle owl,
she got him yesterday from fenman46 of the forum and he was a great bloke to meet and talk too he is all so responsable for these pics....

oscer is four years old male and he is very well traind he is jumping to the fist feeding from my hand and sits happily on your fist getting stroked my 8yr old daughter handles him hes that good and as i said we only got him yesterday....thank you david(fenman46)...spud

Ha i am pleased your happy with him,he is really good ,a fine family bird, who is not shy , He likes you to hoot at him :oops: and takes a lot to stress out , He has flown free and has one bunny ,and 17 tuffs of grass marked down as kills,,eerrm plus a sparrow, who got in the flight I really did not want to see him go ,but i have to concentrate on the new fem HH comeing this year,PM me if you need to know anything mate :D

hi david yes i worked that one out about the hooting lol he calls us when ever we go near is mews mate and jess my eldest is all ways with him when shes not at school..she loves him and he loves here too follows here and gets her strokeing his head all the time...chris

quick update oscer is flying the lenth of the averie to my wife my eldest daughter and now me too so hes starting to come exelent!!! love him to bits lol

aww he is lovely :D we have one too supposedly a 4yr old male but the more i look at him i think her esp when he/she offers herself up :lol:

samson also hoots when we approach his avairy and hoots during during the night for a couple of hours at time but he is lovely and friendly and also loves a stroke of jay :D
