Hi,

How long did it take before your hh started to feed of the fist for the first time?

thanks for the pm sue,but i haven't got a bop yet lol,i just thought it would be interesting to see how long members harris hawks took to feed of the fist for first time.

I had one which took 2-3 days, my male however took around 9 days, which was pretty scary.

50 minutes.
Supposedly parent reared. He'd scream with a full crop.

some will on the first day, there's stories of birds going ten days before feeding you play it by ere! just make shure you do the job correctly the bird will dictate the rest!:yawinkle:
