- Hello, in this ancient video film, the falcons weared cannon hoods which have along the braces a species of ornaments which appear as a "third pair" of braces, where the braces of each hood do pass across them.

- But maybe are only the ends of the neck-lace piece on both sides of this hoods.

- Do you know how really are made these ornaments (( maybe from the neck-lace piece )) of these cannon hoods which in this video film? if you have pictures of how much better.

A while back someone from the IFF sent me a copy of the "Falcon Gentle" DVD, alas, it never arrived here in the States. I would still love a copy of that DVD. Is there a US based source for this DVD?

- Hello HawkMom, actually i´m looking for a source in europe and US for this dvd, but i can´t fund it till now. Past week i saw on ebay. uk an used dvd of this video but unfortunatelly i lost the link of this listing an so i can´t play in these auction. A few years ago WS had it in vhs format but actually they don´t have it. But if i fund a source of this dvd i´ll post it here in this thread.

- But unfortunately none of this hoods have the ornamental-piece which i told.

- Please note the piece(-s) that the 2 arrows points in the next draw that i made, these are the pieces that exactlyment i means.

- In this particular film were showed hoods with this particular ornamental-piece that i had never seen again in another place or film or video, and it gives to the cannon-hoods a very special looking and flavor.

I have the film on DVD ..... I will take another look at the film and see if I can spot the hood you are talking about. If i see it I will attempt to copy it and post a picture of the hood on this thread.

- Hello Griff, thank you. You´ll find that at least 2 or 3 different hoods do have this ornament, some of these hoods are made with lizzard or snake skin.

- If you got the frame of this ornament, ¿¿ do you would to share a brief picture-tutorial about how DIY this ornament ??

- ¿¿ Where you did purchased your dvd of the falcon-gentle ?? i done some search but i can´t found it dvd for sale as brand-new in the falconry-stores.

did you try Western Sporting? The are based in the States and have nearly every DVD about raptors that ever came out.
