Tig, I bought me a little plastic calliper thing at a local building material store. It came in a pack of 2, one big one and one little one. They are easy to use for measuring the head of a hawk. Just open it a bit wider then the head, hold it up to the head and close it real easy like. Just behind the eyes. I would bet that if you have these kinds of stores there they would have one. Real cheap stuff, but it sure makes measuring a hawks head easy.
