Just read an awesome book by Dan O'brian....Now we have a massive history in england and I was wondering what ceremony's we had before or after a hunting trip. I was looking at the different American Indian rituals and thought that our noblemen and perhaps our landed gentry may have had a similar approach. Any answers?

There must be some one with an idea? Are there no falconers/austringers with the wit and will to tell us what we are missing out on? Or for that matter does anyone have any 'little magic ceremonies' of their own.
I for one tend to give a little jig when I catch a well deserved piece of game. And I always give the second catch to my landlord, or owner of my pitch.
Am I alone................Am I mad
