Haha!

No mate, it was a temporary arrangement to keep it chilled out until I released it. Only had her for one night.

Be careful with peafowl around raptors. They carry a strain of coccidia that is deadly to raptors. I stayed on a farm with free-ranging peafowl. I had one Harris' die suddenly, another went to the Raptor Center in Minnesota and he pulled through with their expert care. The others were all tested and examined, about 5 needed medication. A very large vet bill, but all of the other birds pulled through.

Thanks for the hint

But rest assured, I dont free mews falcons and peafowl together on a regular basis as such...

I was having a few pints with mates one evening when one guy decided to head home. He returned within a few minutes with the startling news that a big bird was sleeping on his car. I ran out in the hope to catch myself some escaped Gyr hybrid, only to find Ms Peafowl happily roosting on his bonnet. Grabbed her, hooded her, and released her the next day at a hotel where they have loads of them marching around the lawns.
