Hi folks ,I was wondering what the general longwinger considers a honest price for a falcon.(Peregine male & female). When considering please take into account size , was past siblings of any use in the feild etc.,etc. :?: 2] [/size]

From what I have seen so far this season, I reckon about £350 - £500 for a tiercel and £900 - £1000+ for a female, of average size and from a good breeder.

Thats interesting Gonehawking, what made me think of this topic was during the middle of the night a couple of nights ago while trying frutlessly to bring a sick chick back from the brink I rememberd someone I know saying a £1000 and £500 was highly inflated for peregrines.I wish he was in my shoes or slippers as the case may be the other morning.
He knows that some of my peregrines have gone on to become decent game hawks,Lee Coopers tiercel, Antony Rodes 2004 eyas falcon, Regal and Meg my own brace of gamehawks with top weights of 2lb 9 and 2lb 14 to name just a few.Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to blow a trumpet or advertise birds but sometimes I wish some people new what goes into breeding quality falcons

Hi gone hawking, there isn't any available this year as I could do with a few females for myself for imprinting and on top of that the breeding isn't going that good.
Thanks for the vote of confidance Bill C, isn't a sickner when folk think they should be £10
