just out of interest has anybody ever tried using a crow call to bring crows into the area so they can fly them pursuit style.?if so what sort of results did you get.?and if not what is your opinion on the idea.?looking forward to hearing your opinions.cheers KEV.

I haven't heard of it being used Kev,
But some sneaky "person" use to put a bit of chopped up roadkill on the country roads at night. Then at first light went car hawking with his gos at the crows, who were now eating the roadkill.

I use crow call for gun hunting and hawking but the best crow decoy for gun hunting is a Harris on a tree.My HH is solid steady when 12 gauge goes off.Try it.

I've been killing heaps of carrion crows the last few weeks with the gun useing an electronic call,it is also dynimite on magpies, they cant help themselves and shot one out of a tree with the rifle only today. You can call crows from a long way ,you must use a european call and not one from the US,its a language thing!

i have read that using a film tube filled with knuts and bolts makes a convincing noise when shaken. I tried it a long time ago but felt like an idiot, i am sceptical but it might work.
Goran, i took my air rifle with me to stop crows mobbing my hawk which they did a lot. It worked, the sight of a rifle keeps them away, if they hang around then the site of one of their mates dead does the trick.
