Well, what do you do? Sit about the house on the computer, reading the falconry forum, looking for all that new gear you don't need, will only use once (triple overlay glove made from day old piglet skin, dyed purple and black with built in telemetry and a phone...)

Normaly, I go out and scout good flying ground for later on, ride my sis's horse, volunteer down the centre and do fair's etc. Mind you, school dont half get in the way lol!

I am calling all hunting agency in Croatia and in 1000 km area and prepairing myself for quail season with spar, I am 20 times a day log in forum, watching all videos and DVDs that I already watched 1 000 000 times, watching my personal falconry videos and analysing what is good and where I made some mistakes, I am listening my girlfriend and my parents which yell at me that I am not normal with all my falconry things BUT I DON'T CARE :finga: , and I can' wait anymore to start! :D

Why not plan for the success of the coming season and use this time well, knocking on new doors for flying land, getting around all the estates offering your help or time to busy keepers rearing, in the hope that your good turn will be returned in the form of some quality days when the season opens.

Time spent in prep is seldom wasted??

Listen Varmint, if you want a hand just ask, I'm not too far away! And my labour is cheap. You only have four weeks though, as my hybrid arrives then..

Searching for new hawking grounds, looking for nest sites, Mountain biking, e-bay, Finishing all the projects around the house that went unfinished at the begining of last season, This year it's hardwood floors in the front living room and tile in the kitchen and back living room area, plus replaceing the sliding glass door with french doors. Staring blankly at the wall waiting for the season to begin..... :|
