Willie Bell went on to manage the Mighty Imps (Lincoln City) I used to play in the same school team as his son.

8) I know we should really be talking falconry here but it's good to reminise.I beleive Willie now lives in LA .He was a real gentleman on and of the park. When I left Brighton (homesick after a year) Freddie Goodwin became manager of Birmingham city.He took several players with him and I think Willie was one of them.If I had stayed I'm more than positive that he would have taken me also(thought the sun shone out my a--se) He played me in the reserves more than any other apprentice, he actually thought I was another Jimmy Greaves(who was I to argue) Those were the days!!!!!!!!!
