Anybody got any youngsters yet?
The 2 Jills I paired up are eating me out of house and home, getting fatter by the day. Hopefully have some really nice looking little workers in about 2 weeks.

My jill have birth last sunday to 8 but I found 4 of them in the middle of the cub dead through the week, I can only think they were feeding when she went for a stroll with them attatched.

I have two gills near busting point!
I have them kept togeher at the moment with the hob.
Should I seperate them all up? or will the two gills be ok together ( they have a big hutch)
should I take me hob out or will he be ok in there?

well if you are getting two litters you are in for a right old time,, we had 2 litters of nine......when we were weaning them we used to but them in a wicker basket alltogether....nuts lol.crazzy little critters. btw when they are bigger and mobile handle them as much as you can, in my opinion this makes a much better ferret,

also do you have homes for the surplus?.....i only ever bred them litters because the demand at the time outstripped the supply. like a lot of things they are quite easy to produce but not always ( and i say always)..easy to home.
