8) Where I live here in San Diego, during trapping season we have trapped in the space of an hour as many as 3-coops and a couple of redtails.By driving along the side roads you find them perched on the tops of the telephone poles.We even had a coops come to the truck before my son had even dropped the trap at the side of the road. We've trapped all 3 types of passage merlins here in the one day! The bait? feral quail. I have even trapped prairies using a quail with a wee jacket !!!!!!!!!! top that! LOL

nice one mate :D , pakistanis use a tied pigeon flying :D or any other bird to suit to get their falcons and goshawks

ancient style but still works i prefer the american way :D

bullet ive seen it done on the complete apprentice dvd......very clever the way you trap reds

You been not advertise that so loudly Bullet or I'll be knocking on your door next fall for a Merlin Trapping Tutorial :D The Merlin is the next bird to fly on my list...

Sounds like you guys have the trapping down to a science...
