I was watching 2 the other afternoon over my way, and was really suprised at the way 1 in particular 'mimicked' the way pigeons fly. I watched it way up in the clouds and needed my bino's at first; then it decided to soar around for several minutes before diving down and skim over the roof tops. It then pitched and soared for a while longer.
Diving again but this time, it pulled out of the stoop and went into pigeon flight!!! A few rapid flaps, then glided up and down; it did this a few times before dropping into a garden a couple of hundred yards away.
This is the first time I have ever seen this behaviour and wondered if anyone else had seen this style of flight before. And before any one questions it, it was definately a spar.

I've seen them ring up to a dot in the sky and put in a superb stoop but never saw what was at the receiving end.
