Hi Folks just to let the Northern Ireland Falconers and Austringers know that i'll be attending the National Countrysports fair at Moira the weekend after next.
For the first time this year there is going to be a mini Falconry Mews with several equipment manufacture's coming over.
So if your looking for any new gear, help or advise then Moira is the place to be over that weekend.
Look forwards to meeting some of you and maybe sipping a few pints of Guiness!

Hi Varmint, yes I had heard this ( somebody told me that someone called AH was going to try and set world records like fstes stoop & fly a gose through a hole the size of a dinner plate?) how ture this is I don't know as I have not even seen the article & as anyone whom know the press are notorious re: mixing things up. Another example is recently I wrote an article on legal aspects of kite flyiong /training. there were instaces that I recalled involving jet fighters within this article and named the tornado specifly. when the article came out, someone had changed the word tornado with Hurricane. Now I may be a silly old fool, but I aint that old & I aint been flying hawks to kites for that long !   Have a good one in NI Adrian. all the best

Oh Crickey, im glad i lost that weight!
Oh well that will be ok then, hoped it wasnt for speed cause you all know that a falcon will not stoop as hard from height to a lure as he will to wild game!
Cant imagine why my bird flying thru a hole would be a world record??
But Bill Becket the organiser of this fair will pull any stunt to get attendance figures up higher
We'll just have to go with the flow..... but look forwards to meeting any forum members over there!
