Hi Wilfred
Where do you guys buy your hoods from?
I notice that there is an Adriaan Mollen Museum, can you buy books on "Mollen" hoods from the shop there?
I am very interested in anything related to hood making and especially on original Dutch hoods :)

Well Griff...
Concerning the Adriaan Mollen hoods actually I do not know that much...BUT....in the village I live, there lives some guy originating from the Mollen family. He told me his ant even still has some original Mollen hoods who were made by one of the Mollen's. Still have to ask whether I could see them and make some pictures or so....
I will just inform about whether it is possible to buy books on "Mollen" hoods and could ask some Adriaan Mollen member whether there is something about the Adriaan Mollen hoods mentioned in their yearbooks.
Regarding current hood makers...actually I bought my hoods in Germany. In the Netherlands you have Frans Lenders who also makes very nice hoods. Website www.falconry-equipment.com. Actually I like his electronic scales a lot. They are very good for weighting falcons.
I will try to get info and then come back to this later.
