Its a Gyr/Saker x Peregrine, nice little lad I flew him for a while but hopefully James should be able to get the best out of him. Hows he settled in?

Not bad mate, just slowly bringing his weight down. He was 1lb 9 today and jumped leash length quickly to the fist for a chick. I also finally added a new top knot to his hood!

Will do mate. Had a better day with the harris today(see thread- Fahren07MHH) and the GyrxSaker half chased his first crow! :supz:

If I'm really honest I question the dimensions, I know birds rarely if ever bate in the hood but if these ones ever did on that cadge they could end up in trouble because of the lack of width.

Due to the dimensions of my boot space they are as good as boxed! Also they are attached using a cadge knot so as to minimise the distance they can travel. Your critisism is more than welcome though and will hopefully give others looking to design a cadge something to think about.

I beg to differ but hey I dont wish to fight over it, it does look nicely made. I hope it works for you and your birds. ATB Derry.
