Hi All
First one off the new blocks, this is a size #17 in the new block sizes and will fit a Peregrine Falcon or similar sized. I have 34 sizes that include 1/2 sizes to get the perfect fit :) Note how "symmetrical" this hood is and the "deep" eye bowls...... these new hood blocks have set the standard.

Yes Dennis supplies Patterns as well :) Being the first set in the UK and elsewhere for that matter then there are a few tweeks needed but nothing major. But as you can see the end result speaks for itself...... I will be adjusting the placement of the top knot ....as I think it sits to far forward on the hood....but the blocks are excellant to work with from a makers point of view....... the symmetry of the finished hood is perfect.

Hells Bells Griff. I was considering trying to make my own until I saw this thread. I look forward to when I have a bird of my own and can try out your hoods.
