I liked this pic of my friends Barbary Tiercel ("Star") with one of my standard dutch hoods on :)

The tiercel is feather perfect ....he has just come out of the pen he was starting to get bashed about by his youngters. These Barbary's are just stunning and their youngsters are very sought after.

Hi BB (& MJ of course :wink: ) my thoughts , much the same as yours, little concerned re: beak opening as you say Bb, Also look as as if the hood when it has 'been broken in' , this hawk may be able to see light thro bottom of beak aperture, if that makes sense, otherwise mighty fine hood

Yes, this hood was a tiny bit big for him..... but Mike ordered 6 and this was one of the first out of the box.... :) But, it was light tight :)
