For longwingers it is supposed to be great! I know there are lots of ducks in the area, but not sure what else. I can try to find out for ya.

Carl, I have spent a lot of time hawking in OK and can tell you that it is a great place for longwings. There is at least one member of the Oklahoma falconers association on here (gyr x peales) and I am sure he will be singing the states praise when he sees this thread.

It seemed to be a great meet for all. Eagle Owl can get the statistics but It was close to 3 head per hawk/falcon.
Renewing friendships, making new friends and learning
I had a wonderful time. Thank you Rich, Mario, Rob H, the OFA crew, Woodward and the land owners and everyone else who helped out for another NAFA well done.
While I am busting with joy, this is as much the accomplishment of those that support new falconers my own.
Here is Mel, tiercel Barbary (370 grams/13 oz) with a drake Golden Eye in 'Eclipse' plumage (995 grams/35 oz). I wish I had more/better pics but I was too excited. I'll see what the land owner has today.
