a few days ago somebody asked me what the quarry was for my falcon, I think it's partridge and pigeon, we call it patrijs, its a slick bird about the size of a little pigeon, that flys fast in a group of 4-7 and goes directly into cover when possible, the co lour is grey brownish, is this the description of partridge, ? thx for an answer 8)

Yes a Patrijs, is a partridge in English, in South Africa where I originally come from we fly at many 'patrys' or francolin, but they are all the same birds basically.
What are you flying?

Great how are you finding the hybrid? What style do you fly him, as a gamehawk?

no , they both " wait on" let me explain i hide the lure and they make hight, then while they are above me, I have the possibility, or the dog to hunt out prey! I hope these terms will be understood and corrected :?

Yes that is a gamehawk. The other is a pursuit hawk that chase off the fist, like rooks or gulls. :wink:
Great what height do they go to?
