What you one need as a location?
Secluded or open to distant movement of people, sheep & say cars etc?

Minimum sizes?

Perching?

Nesting?

Anything else you feel is vital to make it a successful and accommodating facility?

Peregrine breeding project

Location:
Virtually anywhere.

Altitude:
50 to 4000 feet (UK).

Minimum pen size:
25 x 25 miles.

Perching:
Virtually anything... astroturf or rubber/plastic padding definitely not required.

Food supply:
Plentiful supply of pigeons... rockies, townies, woodies, or racers (none of which need freezing or gutting before being eaten)... or anything else that can fly.

Nesting:
Any convenient ledge will do... again, no namby pamby materials needed (pea gravel etc.)... bare rock or whatever the ledge is covered will do.

Health:
No inoculations, vaccinations, worming, mute and blood samples, etc., etc., needed.

Hawkmaster,
I think you should ask Billy Casper for a photograph of his pens - very well laid out. 3 solid sides, half opened barred front, mesh roof, covering above nest ledge. Size approx from memory 8 foot wide, 12 foot deep, 9 foot high. All overlooking a private lawn.

OF.

He seems to have a lot of success from breeding from imprint falcons and gosses - must be a good set up
