I bought a transmitter off him but the whip got damaged, I am now using a 216mhz so it's no good to me. If you need a spare part your welcome to have my transmitter for nothing

Hi Rob, try this link, I bought a transmitter from him last year; there is a picture on page 8 of Kier's diary. Alan Ramsdale, HM knows of him.

Hi Rob,
if it's the same as the one on Kier, I've had no troubles with it. I would only use it on a HH, and is on channel 6 on my Bio track. 173.260Mhz.

Hello Skeld, I notice you are from Shetland, are there many falconers there? Perhaps you can give us an intro, and what are you flying?

I've got his address if you want it - bought one last year 173.25-173.26 MHz, works very well on my M-J system.

Hi Goldie and everyone else,
As far as I know Iam the only falconer here in Shetland. I have flown hawks since the 70s. I moved here about 11 years ago when we took over my wife's family croft, the weather can be a problem here sometimes and there are no trees. Plenty of rabbits and hares! I am currently hunting with a male and female Harris, and a male Redtail.

WELCOME SKELD!

Hope we keep you entertained while the weather plays up there?

Paul
PS Alan is in very poor health and I don't think he is doing any more transmitters untill he gets better.
