Anyone else bred any ferret kits this year? Just wondering what ratios (hobs and jills) you all got. Out of 21 born so far (one litter to go) I have had 15 hobs and 6 jills......which is really hob high. A friend of mine who used my hob ('The Bear') also got high hob ratios on both his litters. Not sure if there is a conection (i.e. this hob is likely to sire more hobs - although it may be on the jills side too).
Also how many and what colours in the litters?

I wonder in total how many collectively are bred from forum members?

I will start the count at...................21

i had 8 kits this year but one morning i got up & found 4 of them in the middle ov the cub. The jill had obviously dragged them out with her & then a few days lateer 1 of the kits had vanished ?.I have 3 hob kits left 1 polecat , 1 very light polecat with champagne head & 1 champagne.
Well gutted as I want jills for hunting. The father hob is a masive champagne & the hob kits are 5 weeks old & look like they are going to be big boys too.
