Hunting with a Golden Eagle

Well I've done it. I've booked 3 days hunting deer in the Czech Rupublic with Mick Young and some Golden Eagles.........So has anyone got any tips for a me?? :) :)

However rest assured my good man, I have been perusing the best digital camera money can buy this very morning....and at 259 of the queens heads its a snip mate.......:) :)

Ben, I didn't ask where! :lol: . Dont think it will be Opoccno. it is more likely to be Cheb. That is where Mick stays when he is over (log cabin)
I know Mick well.
Opoccno is where they have the annual Eagle Meet and that is usually the first week in October. Tell Mick I was asking for him.
I will give you the low down on it all at the bash in August

This is disgraceful :) :)......I can't wait to go and sample the hunting regardless....it is going to be good hunting...can I bring any venison back? What with us being in the EU and all that pants??

Griff I want to buy some of those "Eagle field hoods" as presents for the falconers out there, I take it they are a standard size and will fit most Golden eagles?

Yes he is a very friendly bloke.....and on first impressions I liked him (if it is Mick).

No problem with the hoods, just let me know how many .....i think they will be hunting with females mostly .....from 8 - 12 lbs. PM me :)

50 quid a day sounds a bargain it costs that much for 2 hrs here and thats not hunting :D

easyjet does alot of cheap deals from here to prague

mate keep us updated, sounds good , maybe all go for a summer trip if we arrange it from here , will be good
