hi everyone, thanks for your positive responses
yes we will be able to ship them worldwide.
At the moment I'm just trying to work out costings and we'll have to obviously choose some good images, so it's early stages, but it's good to hear they would be well recieved. Obviously will keep you updated.

as suggested in the lyrics of a snoop dog track... my hands are thrown up in the air and i'm waving the mother farkers like i just don't care!
a chance to get 12 prints will be awesome, will it be affordable tho? i'd amagine i'd not be alone in wanting a larger print as possible, so 1 can cut em out and keep them after 12months,
would you not be taking a big hit on the prints; 12 prints for say £20??

fair comment, and we realise some people will buy them to cut up and frame, which is fine and up to them. But at the end of the day however nice the calendar is you have to be realistic that that is all it is.The prints will be nothing like the quality of our giclees for instance. Obviously you get what you pay for in terms of quality and what the print is worth- a print taken out of a book or calendar and framed may look ok on your wall but will never have a monetary value as such.
With the cheaper prints and other products such as the cards and calendars we just want to give people the chance to get " a bit of andrew ellis" at an affordable price, we realise that the originals are out of a lot of people's reach as are some of the more expensive prints.
ok gone on enough now LOL

not yet , i've got a vague idea in my head but still trying to work things out,
I'm thinking that once i have a cost and some images picked to share with you, so you have an idea what you'll be getting, we may allow people to pre order and secure their calendar with a deposit.....
good idea???

thanks for the reply, its not monetary value i'm after, would be awesome to get some quality ellis works on the wall, am sure they will look awesome, and with my budget (like a lot else) its probably a good way\ the only way of getting say 12 nice images on 1's wall.... cos i'm not rich! but doesn't mean i apprecieate them any less then some1 who can afford them...
i'm in there like swim wear/keen as a bean just hope you make the callendar as big as pos for a reasnable price... will def buy 1. :supz:

the plan is to make the calendar A3 size- which is the biggest the printer does, so the image would be roughly A4 size, and yes the plan is to keep the price reasonable, whilst making us some money at same time of course LOL :)

It the calender going to comprise of 12 falconry images or everything Andrew paints?
Either way, would love to have one on the wall.

This calendar will be a falconry based one, but hopefully if it goes well then maybe the following year we may do a mixed one?
Pricing at the moment is looking at £15 and if you pick it up at the festival there would be no postage to pay.
We're going to start choosing images next week or week after.
will keep you informed when there's more news.

i have made a list of everyone who has expressed an interest on here, and through the website/ facebook page.
The plan is once we have some images chosen and the price is confirmed ( it's pretty definite as £15), i will contact all of you, telling you how you can reserve your copies with a small deposit. Then I'll post the same details on here plus the website etc
If you can make it to the festival you can then pay the balance when you collect , or if not you can pay the balance plus the relevant postage ( which we'll keep as reasonable as poss)and I'll post them to you.
