Specifications of the new 2005 marshalls micro transmitter. I like the ideal of the signal being slowed down to extend battery life if switched on for more than 10 hours (assumes lost hawk).

I was thinking of using these instead of the PowerMax, as they are small and I will be using two on my falcon and possibly the Gos too.
You thinking of getting one?

Yes Hm,
Friends have used them on spars, merlins, perlins and barbarys - nice and small with a good range.

Because of the size would you say it is better than the PowerMax?

I never used a powermax but have used the rt+ including the new one and I think it is powerful enough for any falcon - the powermax use to be twice as powerful as the rt+ but now is listed as being the same. The shape of the powermax and micro gives it a nice low profile when fitted to the hawk, the micro is nice and small and seems to have enough range. The powermax is a lot bigger and far more powerful but do you need the increased range ?

Hi
Had loads of different trannies - at moment have 2 Powermax, RT-XR and an old RT, but Powermax so much more power than anyelse I've had.
Handy when you have a bird down on ground and signal power goes down
