Stu, they asked me to stay out of the way as they didn't want too many women buying the magazine! a re-run to supply demand would have been too costly:lol::lol: And when you thought he was using a light meter it was actually a misery meter and it went of the grump scale when he pointed it at you! thats why you were not in it.

I killed a Hen on the first slip and finished with a Cock Pheasant before lunch. Everyone else had gone back to the cars when I got my last slip :yawinkle:

I know Stu had a couple of slips on the moor after lunch can't remember if he caught or not?

No it was decided to break for lunch and head off back to the cars, I climbed a fence and a Pheasant broke, I slipped and found her on the tops tucked into a ditch, as I was the only one flying I knew it was safe to slip as I walked back down, a cock Pheasant broke and she took him in the wood.

It all merges into one mate, to be honest probably not that's the windiest place on earth , but lots of stock fencing in Wales.

I hope Seth got a pic of it, but Guin set off on a Hen and was tearing into the wind behind it, gaining on it all the time she went low and fast and was approaching a fence when Aidy (Hardcore Hawkers mate) shouted "FENCE!!!" she took note, climbed about two feet and kept the throttle down  found her in a tree however,

I will usually fly in most conditions ben! but with all those fences coupled with wind speed if he had of hit one i would have been raking the pieces up:rolleyes: and with him not being my bird i made the right decision.

Steve's Guin appeared to be educated in respect to fences, and you probably fly around quite a few of them as i would imagine a percentage of your permission holds livestock in your part of the world! my permission is mostly vast Arable land without a fence in eyesight range its very safe to be honest even in the most blustery of conditions.

I have bounced the gos, both spars and the Harris off numerous fences. shropshire lowland is just covered in sheep.
