He's mine on my own thread 8) on thing I dislike about it, is that it's slight under-powered for the size of it.............only 2.0l, 2.5 or 3.0l would be a different kettle of fish.

£15k on the road, a hell of a lot of motor for the dosh.

I have a 2 foot square bird box in the back on the left side and my dog sits on the right. It's about the same size as a Disco.

I had no probs this winter but then it's down tp the rubber your wearing!!!!

SS, looks like a nice motor, looks a bit like a shogun, but at half the cost, :D I think there is a bit more to a 4x4's offroading ability than just the tyres, BMW X5 is naff offroad as is the LEXUS, MERC and alot more, It really depends on what you want it to do, and if it does what you want then fair play, I will never personally test my Range rover to the limit, I only want to cross wet and muddy fields and know that I'm not going to get stuck.

I always thought you put Tata sauce on scampi!!!!! To date I haven't been stuck but my shooting partner has a Defender 90 so is always telling me to get a real 4x4:
It does what I need like you GH, and as it's a family car as well, I wont be testing it beyond the normal capabilities.
