Steppe eagle taking on a marabou stork, i dont know if it's the same picture but im sure there is a sequence somewhere of a steppe killing and eating a marabou, maybe from the same set of pics? Where did you find it?

Probably just fighting at a carcass, marabous are pretty vulture like, as are steppes, so it would be normal to find them squabbling a bit. Im sure that somewhere on the web there is a whole sequence of a steppe eagle killing a marabou and then eating it, which is really unusual. We fly a few marabous along with tawny eagles and other birds all at once in demos, the others don't go near the marabous because if they do, they get a right good stab from that long pointed beak!
