they are usualy mating for a few weeks before eggs apear

any one cud tell me how long after copulation is it usually before female harris lays they have already built nesthave you been watching them ? is the female sitting in the nest yet?....shell normally sit in the nest for a couple of days prior to laying ....not all the time but for short periods !!

also she will look dopey and ill in the nest eyes half shut and almost naked and spending alot of the day near the nest site , this is a sure sign she is going lay :wink:
