Okay, first off, could we PLEASE spell properly. I hate reading through that stuff.

Secondly, cheap is not a falconry word. Generally, cheap = poor quality = poor bird. I started falconry at 13 too. I called up the ONLY falconer anywhere near me and we chatted for a bit. I'd call him every now and then with questions, etc and just to talk falconry with someone for a bit. Half a year after I met him, I turned 14. 6 months later (12 months total) he agreed to sponsor me. I was 14 and a 1/2 and it took me a year to get sponsored. After getting my sponsor I continued to study like crazy for my test. YES it is VERY HARD! Seeing as how you are in California, you shouldn't have too hard a time finding possible sponsors. Actually getting a committment won't be easy. Anyway, AFTER I passed my test was when I started on the mew. I finished the mew just this spring/summer at 15 and a half. Two years now Wannabe, and still birdless. This isn't an easy road, and it's definently not a short one, you sure you're up to it? With prices going up worldwide and ESPECIALLY in the states (friggin wars... that's off topic though) it gets even more expensive. I'm into this sport almost $2,000 now and still no bird. Can you handle that? If you can, great.

As for that link fellas, http://www.onlinefalconry.com/USFederalFalconryExam.htm Here you go. This is NOT the actually falconry test you will take.
