Escaped from Flitwick Bedfordshire Friday 17th June pm. Female Gos.

Have had several sightings locally, but am always one step behind. (have positive information that she is feeding) have informed police, IBR, RSPB, DEFRA etc and have put up approx 50 posters. Up until Friday she was still local.

Any suggestions or advice most welcome.

She escaped via perspex roof which was damaged in storm.

Have been out searching every morning and evening, but difficult as I can only gage reaction of other birds. i.e crows. Any ideas please!

Best of luck Steve. I hope you find her.

Are you a member of a local club? I know Bedford has quite a large and good Falconry Club. They maybe of help?

Unfortunately I feel for you mate and have tried to put myself in your shoes.

I would just get out there and swing the lure and call. I have seen with my Gos when I tried to tame hack her a few times, that the crows don't even pay attention unless, I suppose if she was on a kill?

Keep us informed.

latest update! have had a call this evening saying gos had been spoted in small wood, less than 1 mile away. Have been and had a look, seems that she has had a woodie. Definately her, guy saw her on fence, mentioned her orange eyes. Says she was chirping at him and seemed to have no fear. Will be up early to look again, I'm hoping that with full crop she will not travel to far. Here's Hoping!!!

p.s. I am a member of Bedfordshire club, but most live outside beds.

It is a pity you live in England, else I would suggest a baggy pigeon  Good Luck!

If she is killing and has no bell, you do have a problem. try a whole dead, gutted rabbit on the lure. If she has something real worth while to come down to it may make a difference and will give you more time to catch her than a chick or something. Hope you get her soon. Good luck.
