Just a quick question for those in the know!
Has anyone ever bred this hybrid? A friend has a F Merlin in with a M Perlin, they have been seen to copulate and today she laid her first egg. Is this a viable hybrid and does anyone know is M Perlins are generally fertile? I thought I would ask as it's a mix that I have never heard of before, as he says even if it doesn't work out he has an egg laying merlin to put with a Jack another year!

Hi Greg,

Many years ago, we stripped a Perlin, just to see.

The semen looked "Very Viable" to us.

Hope all goes well.
